Pizzeria Pinocchio in Triberg

One of the worst places to eat. Nauseating food (pizza with prawns) and on top of that you tell them and they don't care. They do not change it and you have to pay. Surely you don't see many people, only the clueless or late like us. Also in the basement.

Clean prices are right!

Overall, very poor quality of food. I ordered the vegetarian pizza, which should have had broccoli, cauliflower, onions, artichokes, red bell pepper, and mushrooms. There was no broccoli or mushrooms, and instead, CARROTS. It was clear they had put a bunch of frozen vegetables on the pizza before putting it in the oven. the pizza was watery and the vegetables looked raw still. When I asked why there were carrots, they said that "today the vegetables include carrots." I had to send it back because it looked so bad. They were very kind and made me a different pizza. But even that pizza wasn't very good. I wouldn't recommend this place!

Unfortunately I have to agree with the negative reviews. The pizza is really not good. The dough is way too soft and tastes bland. Everything tastes artificial and not fresh. The mozzarella gnocchi were not edible either. Gnocchi from the supermarket and sauce way too sweet and not fresh, probably also a ready-made sauce. So it's definitely not an Italian restaurant. The staff was nice so far, but that's about it. There is really better food in Triberg.

Lovelessly run shop, pizza is tasteless and with far too little topping. Service and boss not exactly friendly. Any price charged is too high for the service delivered. Definitely not worth a second visit. Probably only alive because of the good tourist location from which you will never come back anyway.

The pizza was lovely. Do not forget to carry cash while you plan to order a pizza here.

What to say ... Food served in 5 minutes so reheated in a hurry, the pasta was just dry. The lasagna we ordered contained more tomatoes than anything else, not even sure where the meat was hiding. The same goes for the carbonara: tasteless sauce and surely cut in water

The spaghetti carbonara are the worst I've ever eaten ... the pizzas were okay.

The staff was good but food wasn't that great it may be possible its not for our taste but the overall experience was good, and especially the last who served us was very nice and helpful.

Fled in here during a rain shower (and with hunger). It's in a basement, not very cozy. Service was fine and friendly. Pizza was fine, schnitzel (sold as Cotoletta Milanese) is not recommended (frozen). Can imagine there are better places to eat in Triberg. But if you are hungry and want something simple it's OK.

I know the owner now since I was 18. Maybe longer cause my first trip to Triberg was wenn I was 12 but I don't remember if I visited this restaurant. The owner is always friendly. And food is good

Really weird that one must buy a drink before ordering food.

The resturant itself is clean and the host was polite. The food itself had no flavor. We had 4 pasta meals, 5 pizzas, and one salad. The pasta sauce had no seasoning so it tasted like canned tomato sauce, we also didn't have an option to add any flavoring. The salad was drenched in oil and the ham was either stored next to seafood or it was spoiled, either way it wasn't touched. We were also never asked how our food was or checked on during our meal and the check took an extra 15 minutes to go.e to our table. We were the only party in the resturant. Do yourself a favor and choose a different place.

Not recommendable. Pizza much too thin tomato sauce tasted like bought from these pizza packages. Beer was never warm again.

The worst thing I've ever been given. Totally rude staff. One could write novels about the poor hygienic conditions. As a consumer, such fraud is unfortunately helpless.

Had the pizza and was impressed with the tangy pizza sauce. Really made a big difference. It's a Gästehaus decor and ambience. The waiter was patient and very nice. I would Def go back and try other items on the menu. Guten Appetit!

It is a scam, as other people comment. I was at Christmas and they charged us 6 euros for two glasses of water. We told him but he gave them exactly the same, it is seen that it is his style scamming the water to all who pass through there, besides the pizzas were nothing from the other world ... I do not recommend it at all.

This restaurent put me off italian food. I was there with my wife and mother, food had no taste. Later as student, i applied to work as kitchen help, and i got to know how disgusting they are and how they deal with food. There was a big pot of pasta left in sink where they wash dish at same time. Pizza from oven, was put straight on bare dirty surface of kitchen platform. The owner who makes pizza, did not even bother to get a plate. When i asked if i shall get a plate first, the owner said " they are from Italy, everything is okay". So there you go, good luck with enjoying italian food. Secondly owner is stingy, he called me for discussing job offer, when i went there, there was no job offer papers or any discussion. He asked me to work for 2 days for 8 hours a day as trial and paid only 30 euros a day. The job offer was kitchen help but apart from kitchen help, he got me clean the dirty cold storage, hotel windows and doors , door frame, floor and lobby. At the end of 2nd day, he said he would call me when to come next as the next day he wanted to rest. So after one day gap, i contacted him, but he kept postponing the shift for first few days and then made clear that he will call if he needs me. The job offer was posted in arbeitsagentur , thatshow i found the vacancy. There were hardly enough customers to afford one kitchen assistent. And thats the reason he charges 1 euro for empty plate and tissue papers.So overall, the owner is a fraud. I wish i had enough time and knowledge back then to report this to bundesagentur für arbeit and gesundheitskasse in schwarzwald.

This place it's a hidden gem. Seek it out for really good Italian food when you need a break from the bratwurst.

Nowhere else in this world is there any worse food. Pizza ready in 5 minutes, as with the other reviews. Dough black topping floats in rum. At 10 a.m. the doorbell rang and begged for schnapps. Actually don't drink schnapps but in that case my health was in the foreground. Just complete the loading, best for everyone before anything else happens.

I believed that is tooooooooooo much for rated “1 star” ! Google should add an “zero star” option. I will never go in this shop again the service was terrible they don't know their stuff make you feel pressured and very unfriendly. The waiter sad that every one should order an drink, but this rule didn’t show in anywhere. The pasta is too wet and very rotten. The seafood of pasta has gone stale. Pizza is too salty and a bit overcooked. The Black Forest cake we ate was just so-so. It wasn't too bad, but not amaze us. There are many small bug around us when we are eating. We asked for two plate, the waiter didn’t told that each plate cost €1. Until the bill told us that we should pay €2 for two empty plate. It was a very bad experience to get a message for the first time. Give a star too much 1. You must order a drink at a low price. 2. The plate needs one Euro, and the staff did not inform when they provided it. 3. A bunch of small mosquitoes are flying while dining 4. The main point is that the main meal of Italian pasta and pizza is very difficult to eat. This is probably the most unpalatable Italian pasta I have ever eaten. The chef is too wasting food. Wanted to try a real Black Forest cake in the Black Forest. Have fallen for a fraudulent advertising at this place. Here is a piece of cake for a whopping € 5. And not homemade, but from the discounter. Should you see this advertisement, continue down the street to the pastry shop Schäfer. Since you get a real piece. And that for only 3 €

Nice place but small. Food was okay. I had ordered a veg pizza. Note that you need to buy a drink compulsory. A glass of water is around €2.8

I was here on 13.10.29 with my mum and and a friend in the afternoon and found the place to be quite decent and not very crowded! The service is super quick and the Pizzas were okay! The only let down is the place charges an eye-watering €1 per extra tissue paper and additional plate! Com'on guys please stop looting your customers as this is extremely unfair!

We as tourists felt the final bill was purposely bid up. After some drinks, we ordered some pizza and spaghetti. In order to share, we asked for a plate for everyone. At billing, the staff charged additional 1 euro for each plate! That is so rude. They should tell us in advance. No tips and will never come again! By the way, the taste of pizza was awful (too salty).

Although the atmosphere is nice, the food was not great. We did not enjoy the food.

An amazing stop for Pizza and other Italian food! I had the meat lasagna (highly recommend) and the wife had the gnocchi, then we both shared the garlic rosemary bread! If you have the need for Italian then stop here!

No line, food was out quick and it was delicious.. However, it looks like everything was soldout earlier today since I had to change 4 times of what I desired. Suggest you try it.. BTW music was awsome!!! REGGAETON all night

In this restaurant the staff is very friendly. However the food is not great as expected. We ordered pizza and I can say it was not much typical Italian pizza. All in all acceptable but below our expectations. The restaurant itself is a little bit outdated and would require some refreshing touches. Prices are fair and aligned to the food.

Hate to say this, but the whole experience wasn't that great. Food was okay i guess (depending on what you order) - pro tip: Do NOT order the vegetable Pizza ;) The staff at first was polite and service was good i guess - however the truoble started when we wanted to pay and the staff wasn't able to print out separate bills. Well i personally will not go there again :/

Delicious food.

Only a decent pizza, greedy place owner, the pizza comes with a large plate. Ask plate with two extra per person, pay 2 euros extra. On a spice for pizza you will pay an extra euro. Look elsewhere.

Very bad food.. No basic humanity for these people. This restaurant is utterly waste of money and worst customer service in this world. Please don't go to this place to eat or else u will end up being empty pocket. They are looting tourists at this place. I would say their restaurant must be seized soon. Hate this place to core.. All are drunkards.. No response and they just fight. Please don't go.
